Cosmetic surgeries are becoming very popular, though they are also very expensive which is why it pays to consider an alternative body sculpting option called liposuction.
This option involves a surgery which to reduces or even eliminates unwanted fatty tissues that is stored beneath a person’s skin. The procedure itself is generally performed while the patient is under local anesthesia and is usually also no more than a day case that does not require overnight stay. The surgery begins after a small incision has been made in the skin at the site where the surgery is to be performed.
Next, a thin tube is inserted and then to it is connected a suction tube after which the surgeon uses forward as well as backward motion to loosen and then remove all the fat.
Once the fat has been removed the incisions will then be closed with sutures or with skin glue, and then a dressing is applied. Generally speaking the healing is relatively fast, and the resulting contouring is immediately apparent.
